Definition
1. Individual registered with the National Association of Securities Dealers who purchases and sells over-the-counter securities in round lots to maintain stability. 2. Registered trader on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange that execute trades and makes a quick profit from changes in the market. These are the individuals that are expected to help balance out too many orders of a particular type.
