Qualified Special Representative Agreement (QSR)

Definition
An agreement between brokers and dealers to clear transactions without the use of the NASDAQ Act system. This is done via by-passing the NASDAQ Act system and sending the transaction straight to the national securities clearing corporations. QSR is often preferred because the method is simpler and more cost effective.
