Mutual Will

Definition
A legal document signed by married couple to ensure the right disposition of wealth or property upon the death of either party. In order words, to ensure that properties of both or either couple is inherited by children rather than subsequent spouse, then a mutual will has to be drawn. Such wills cannot be annulled without the consent of either party, it can however be revoked on the occasion of divorce and if one of the parties re-marries.
