An individual who receives this certification through the American Bankers Association for financial professionals. CTFAs can be brokers, bankers, trust officers, financial planners, and tax professionals. Candidates must fulfill all of their prerequisites, pass an exam, and adhere to a professional code of ethics in order to be certified.
