Conditional Call

Definition
A provision in a convertible security which indicates the circumstances in which the company issuing the security can issue a call earlier than originally stated. The conditional call is usually related to the price of the underlying security, allowing the company to call the security if the trading price of the stock, as a percentage, is beyond a certain range.
