A sovereign wealth fund administered by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and one of two investment portfolios held under the HKMA's Exchange Fund. The main purpose of the fund is to support the stability of the Hong Kong currency and banking system, as well as promoting the efficiency, integrity and development of its financial system.
