Irish Futures And Options Exchange (IFOX)

Definition
An exchange that dealt in options and futures contracts for Irish government bond derivatives and related investment instruments. The exchange was opened in 1989 and closed in 1996. Issues blamed for the closure were liquidity problems and the fact that only a handful of dealers set prices making direct transactions simpler than going through the exchange.
