An annual financial performance report which combines both data and comments made by the company outlining the presented data. The data presented in the report includes equity, holdings, earnings per share, etc. whereas the commentary section may include: main vision of the company, letters to shareholders, business overviews, etc. The commentary presented here is usually not as detailed as that presented in a regular annual report. Public companies are required to release these reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
