Bank Pool Loan

Definition
A relatively new type of loan that allows U.S. companies to borrow up to $10 million from European banks. With this type of loan, a group of European banks form a pool whose sole purpose is to lend money to a U.S. company. The loan is usually secured by stock in the U.S. company.
