Harvard MBA Indicator
Definition
Indicator that states the percentage of graduates from Harvard Business School who take market sensitive positions in fields like investment banking, venture capital, and securities sales and trading. If over 30 percent of a graduating class in a given year accept positions in these areas, then it is said to be a signal to sell stocks. However, if less than 10 percent of graduates in a given year accept positions in these types of positions, then it is a signal to buy stocks.
