Double Exponential Moving Average (DEMA)
Definition
A technical indicator which consists of a single exponential moving average and a double exponential moving average. Developed by Patrick Mulloy, the double exponential moving average is more responsive to market changes than the simple moving average. It is computed as (2 * n-day EMA) - (n-day EMA of EMA), where EMA is the exponential moving average.
