Singapore Interbank Offered Rate (SIBOR)

Definition
The interest rate used for interbank lending in Asia, set by the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS). The Singapore interbank offered rate is reflective of the state of Asian financial markets, and is used instead of the LIBOR as a reference point for borrowing and lending in that region.
