Non-profit organization that provides credit counseling services to consumers to assist them with reducing debt and reaching the financial freedom that they are seeking. The organization has various subsidiaries that each supply specific services including, but not limited to, budgetary plans, debt counseling, and financial literacy courses. Some of the services offered under the NFCC may be free of charge to consumers. The company was founded in 1951 and now has over 100 member agencies.
