Secular Market

Definition
A market which is driven by elements liable to be in place for years to come which causes the price of an investment or asset to rise or fall over a lengthy period of time. In secular bear markets, weak investor attitudes will force selling over an extended period of time and in secular bull markets, strong attitudes will force the prices higher with more net buyers in the market than sellers.
