Reopening

Definition
1. Allowing trading of a certain securities contract to resume, after trading had been suspended for a period of time. 2. Offering an additional amount on an existing treasury issue, as opposed to creating a new issue. Although the value will be different, the other values of the issue (including interest rate and maturity date) will remain the same.
