Fiduciary Deposit

Definition
An arrangement wherein a depositor charges the bank to deposit his liquid assets with another bank. The depositor chooses the degree of risk he wishes to take by predetermining the amount and period to be deposited. Although fiduciary deposits are less liquid and have higher fees, it can be beneficial to depositors desiring a high level of confidentiality.
