Regulation NMS (Regulation National Market System)

Definition
A regulation which fosters competition and equality for the national market system. Its goal is to promote fair market pricing across the securities market which was authorized by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and Congress to enable traders the ability to comparison shop. The regulation was enacted in 1975.
