A detailed list of the short and long equity positions held by a desk or division at an investment firm, or by an individual trader. The position sheet may also include a list of trades made during previous trading sessions that resulted in the current set of equity positions. The position sheet represents a perspective on the direction of the market for a particular trader or firm.
