NASDAQ Global Select Market Composite

Definition
A market index that is made up of approximately 1,200 stocks listed in the NASDAQ global select market, of which each of the company will have met strict (financial, liquidity and corporate governance) requirements to be included in the list. This is a much higher standard than the one required for inclusion into the NASDAQ global market. To ensure quality, the NASDAQ regulations department reviews the NASDAQ global market list yearly to check if any of its stock needs to be moved to the global select market.
