Viatical Settlement Provider

Definition
An individual (who is not an owner) that executes a sales contract with an owner for a life settlement. A provider is not a bank of any type or other licensed institution, which takes life insurance policies as collateral for a loan. Nor, is a provider a natural person who enters into no more than one agreement in a calendar year for the transfer of a life insurance policy.
