Days Accounts Receivable

Definition
A measure used as an indication of a company's ability to meet current cash flow needs based on the average number of days it takes to collect receivables. For example, a company that averages more than 50 days accounts receivable will need more cash on hand to meet current cash flow needs than a company that averages 30 days.
