Possessions Corporation

Definition
A classification applied to certain subsidiary businesses in the United States corporate tax code. This rule allows parent corporations to take a tax credit on business done by a subsidiary that conducts a substantial amount of business overseas, as if it were a subsidiary located in a foreign country.
