Dribble Out

Definition
In the distribution of equity, dribble out equity programs are a method by which an issuer sells small amounts of equity at various times during the program. Using a shelf registration and a broker-dealer, it is often cheaper for issuing companies because it does not involve large amounts of institutional selling.
